Why Sydney kitchens need more than a sealer
Marble, limestone and travertine are made mostly of calcium carbonate. Everyday acids dissolve the surface on contact and leave dull marks called etches. A penetrating sealer sits inside the pores and slows stains, but it does not stop acid reacting with the stone. That is why many freshly sealed marble islands still etch within weeks of a dinner party. Read our guide to marble etching.

Gloss or Satin is your choice on any of these, not something the surface decides. Most clients match the existing finish so the original design is preserved, and some use the film to change it instead.

How a Sydney installation works
- Consultation and quote. Send photos and measurements, or book an on-site look. We confirm the surface type and condition, and show you Gloss and Satin samples on it.
- Preparation. We deep clean and decontaminate the stone. Existing etches or stains should be restored first so the film locks in a clean finish.
- Precision application. Film is laid, trimmed by hand around edges, sinks and cooktops, and sealed.
- Inspection and handover. We check every edge with you and explain care and warranty.
